Charleston
County Greenbelt Bank Board Holds First Meeting on Nov. 3
Meeting on
Friday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. in Charleston County Council Committee Room
Newly
appointed members of Charleston County's Greenbelt Bank Board will hold
their initial meeting on Friday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. The Greenbelt Bank was
established by County Council to protect land and promote balanced growth in
the county.
The County's
Comprehensive Greenbelt Plan, which provides guidance on spending the
greenbelt portion of the Transportation "Half-Cent" Sales Tax, also assigns
the Greenbelt Bank Board with the responsibility of administering the
Greenbelt Project's Rural Grants Program.
The
Greenbelt Bank Board meeting is open to the public, and will be held in
County Council's Committee room (B225) on the second floor of the Lonnie
Hamilton, III Public Services Building (4045 Bridge View Drive, off Leeds
Avenue in North Charleston).
