Public Meeting on Proposed Improvements to Folly Road and
Camp Road Intersection
Public meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 13 to discuss
proposed intersection turning lane improvements at Folly
Road and Camp Road on James Island
Charleston County RoadWise is holding a public meeting to
gather input on proposed plans to improve traffic problems
where Folly and Camp Roads intersect on James Island.
The
meeting will be held on Tuesday Nov. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at
the James Island Charter High School (1000 Fort Johnson
Road, James Island, SC 29412).
The
project will be funded by the Transportation “Half-Cent”
Sales Tax.
The
public meeting on Nov. 13 will focus on proposed alternative
designs that could address the problems with traffic
congestion, turning lanes and signalization at the Folly
Road and Camp Road intersection. Those attending the meeting
will have an opportunity to make comments, ask questions and
review conceptual designs for improvements to the
intersection.
