Notice of Lane Closures on
North Spartan Road on Monday, Jan. 26
Charleston County
RoadWise advises the public of a lane
closure in North Charleston that will occur on Monday, Jan. 26, between 8 a.m.
and 5 p.m. at the following intersection:
-
Ashley Phosphate Road (S-10-75) and North Spartan Road
The
roads at this intersection will be affected for approximately 500 feet in each
direction.
Only the
left turning lane will be closed, and at no point will the entire roadway be
blocked to traffic.
The road
work will consist of removing the median on North Spartan Road, which is needed
for the
Palmetto Commerce
Parkway, Phase II project. The project is
funded by the
Transportation Half-Cent Sales Tax.
During
the median removal, trucks with lighted flashing arrow signs will be on site to
warn drivers of the approaching lane closure. Be aware of heavy construction
equipment entering and exiting the project site at the existing Palmetto
Commerce Parkway and at North Spartan Road off of Ashley Phosphate Road.
